Here’s the important information for your stay at The Amaya. Need to know something that’s not listed below? Just reach out!

GUARANTEED RESERVATION

Reservations must be guaranteed by a major credit card when you book. Blackout dates and special event dates are subject to their own rules.

Check-in after 4PM 

Check-out by 11AM

Guests must be 21 years of age or older to book and stay at the hotel

IDENTIFICATION, INCIDENTALS & SMOKING

For security purposes, please provide a valid government or state-issued photo ID at check-in.

A $250 incidental authorization per stay will be placed on your credit card at check-in. This authorization may be adjusted if additional incidental charges are incurred during your stay. Any unused amount will be released after check-out in accordance with your financial institution’s processing timelines.

The Amaya is a non-smoking property. Smoking or vaping anywhere on the property will result in a $500 per room smoking fee.

QUIET HOURS & CONDUCT

Quiet hours are observed from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

Excessive noise, disruptive behavior, parties, or gatherings are not permitted at any time.

VISITOR POLICY

To preserve a calm and quiet environment, visitor access is limited.

Visitors are permitted between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM only. All visitors must be 21 years of age or older, registered at the front desk, and limited to two (2) visitors at a time per room.

Visitors may not access hotel amenities. Overnight visitors are not permitted. Guests are responsible for the conduct of their visitors. The Amaya reserves the right to deny or revoke visitor access at any time to preserve quiet enjoyment.

CREDIT CARDS & THIRD-PARTY BILLING

Credit Cards must be presented upon check-in and must be the same credit card used to make the reservation. If guests are booking on behalf of someone else, they must contact the hotel directly to arrange for third party billing minimum 7 days prior to the arrival date on the reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Pay Now rates are non-refundable, full pre-paid and non-transferable.

Pay Later rates require a cancellation notice 72 hours prior to date of arrival in order to avoid a penalty of up to two nights' stay.

Group Rates require a cancellation notice of 14 days prior to date of arrival in order to avoid a penalty of a two night stay. 

Unless otherwise noted on confirmation, please let us know if you have to cancel 72 hours before arrival to avoid penalty. If you No Show for your reservation, we’ll have to charge up to two nights' stay.

Special Event dates require a cancellation notice of 14 days prior to date of arrival in order to avoid a penalty of 100% of the stay. These include, but are not limited to President’s Day, Auburn Car Show, Vera Bradley Sale, Easter, and Christmas through New Year’s Day. 

EARLY ARRIVAL/LATE DEPARTURE

We’ll do our best to accommodate early arrival or late departure requests made in advance. If unavailable, we’re happy to store your luggage securely.

Late departures without prior approval may incur a fee of one night’s stay plus tax.

PET POLICY

At this time, pets are not permitted. Service animals are always welcome in accordance with applicable law.

TAXES & FEES

Standard City of Fort Wayne taxes are applied to all reservations.

Beginning April 1, 2026 a Daily Experience Fee per room will apply to support wellness access, parking, and in-room amenities. Details will be disclosed prior to booking.

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT

Completion of the Amaya Registration Card is required prior to or upon check-in.
